The National University of Malaysia (UKM)

As I navigate my journey at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), I find myself immersed in a vibrant community that continuously inspires me. Serving as the Vice President of the Students Association for the Faculty of Economics and Management, I have the incredible opportunity to engage with fellow students and collaborate on initiatives that enhance our academic experience. This role has allowed me to connect with diverse perspectives, advocate for student needs, and contribute to a positive campus environment.
Every meeting, event, and discussion fuels my passion for fostering a sense of belonging within our faculty. Throughout various events, I’ve had the chance to meet numerous corporate professionals, and their insights and experiences have inspired me deeply. I aspire to follow in their footsteps, blending my passion for leadership with the skills I am developing at university.

In addition to my role in the Students Association, I am also the Executive of Networking and External Relations for Persatuan Kasih Mahasiswa, our food bank initiative. This position is particularly close to my heart, as it addresses a critical issue—food insecurity among students. Working alongside dedicated team members, we strive to raise awareness and provide support to those in need.
It’s rewarding to see how our efforts can make a tangible difference in the lives of our peers. The sense of community we build through this initiative reinforces the importance of compassion and collaboration in our university experience. My involvement doesn’t stop there; I’ve also joined DEMOKRAT UKM, our campus student movement. Engaging in political discourse and advocacy has broadened my understanding of the social issues affecting our student body. It’s empowering to be part of a movement that encourages
dialogue, promotes student rights, and seeks to create positive change on campus. Throughout various events, I’ve had the chance to meet numerous corporate professionals, and their insights and experiences have inspired me deeply. I aspire to follow in their footsteps, blending my passion for leadership with the skills I am developing at university.
As I reflect on my journey at UKM, I am grateful for the experiences and connections I’ve made. Each role—whether in leadership, community service, or politics—has shaped my perspective and equipped me with valuable skills for the future. I look forward to continuing this journey, embracing challenges, and making a lasting impact alongside my fellow students. Together, we are creating a dynamic and supportive environment that inspires growth, creativity, and change.
