Exploring the Top 3 Facilities at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEP)

As a student at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEP), I’ve come to realize that it’s not just the academic programs that make this place so special — it’s also the amazing facilities that support our daily lives. From grabbing a snack on the go to finding a quiet spot to study, FEP truly has everything a student could need. Let me take you on a personal journey through three of my favorite facilities: PANAS EXPRESS, the Atrium , and the Library.

1. PANAS EXPRESS: The Self-Service Convenience That Saves My Day

As someone who’s always rushing between classes, PANAS EXPRESS has been a lifesaver. Picture this: you’re starving, you have just 10 minutes between lectures, and you need something quick and easy. PANAS EXPRESS is a small but mighty self-service store right inside FEP. I love how efficient it is — no lines, no waiting, just grab what I need and head straight to the self-checkout kiosks.

There’s a wide selection of snacks, drinks, and ready-to-eat meals, so whether I'm in the mood for something healthy, like a fruit bowl, or craving a hearty sandwich, PANAS EXPRESS has it all. The best part? The self-payment system. With just a few taps on my phone, I can pay without any hassle. This is perfect for those super busy days when every minute counts. Plus, there’s something satisfying about the self-service vibe — it feels modern, fast, and just... easy.

2. The Atrium: Where I Meet, Mingle, and Relax

The Atrium, or Ruang Terbuka, is the heart of FEP when it comes to events and social interactions. It’s this massive, open space where everything seems to happen. Whether it's a career fair, an open mic session, or a casual hangout between classes, the Atrium always has something going on. The energy here is incredible, and I’ve often found myself running into classmates, professors, and even guest speakers during events.

What I love most is that the Atrium is so much more than just a place for events. It’s also an amazing spot to relax and recharge between classes. During the day, you’ll find students lounging, chatting, or even catching up on work. The open-air feel of the Atrium makes it feel refreshing and energizing — especially when the weather’s nice. It’s a space that encourages socializing and collaboration, and as a student, that makes it feel like home. I’ve had countless impromptu study sessions here, with group projects taking on a life of their own.

3. The Library: My Sanctuary of Focus and Inspiration

Now, if you’re someone who really loves to dive deep into study or research, the FEP Library is your sanctuary. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent in this peaceful space, surrounded by books, journals, and endless resources. The library is designed to meet every student’s need — whether you're tackling a tough assignment, looking for resources for your thesis, or just in the mood to read something academic (yes, that happens sometimes).

The best part is the variety of spaces within the library. There are quiet zones for those times when I need complete focus, and then there are group study rooms for when I need to collaborate with classmates. I’ve even found myself in the library late at night during exam season, the comfy chairs and natural light helping to keep me going. Plus, the library is constantly updated with the latest journals and e-books, so I always feel like I have access to the most up-to-date information. It’s not just a place for studying; it’s where ideas come to life.

Looking back on my time at FEP, it’s clear that the faculty’s facilities make a huge difference in my day-to-day life as a student. PANAS EXPRESS keeps me fueled throughout the day with its easy self-service model. The Atrium provides a vibrant, social space where I’ve met friends, participated in events, and taken study breaks. And the Library? It’s been my quiet retreat for focused study and research, offering everything I need to excel academically.

All these facilities come together to create an environment that supports both my academic goals and my personal well-being. Whether you’re grabbing a snack, attending an event, or hitting the books, FEP has something for every student — and trust me, it makes all the difference.
